Embroidery

Using the latest computer and embroidery technology we convert images, logos and other artwork from a visual document to physical sewn stitches.

The form of embroidery has been around for many years and is recognised by most individuals and corporations as the premium form of garment decoration.

Designs can consist of multiple colours and can be as simple as basic text through to the complexity of a colour photo.

Heat Tranfer Printing

Heat transfer printing is a very versatile form of garment decoration used primarily for basic designs consisting of less than 5 colours, the process requires the customers design being cut from pvc sheet material and applied directly to the garment at high temperature. Common forms of transfer printing our found in the sports industry where many teams use the process for applying large sponsorship logos to garments.

Another form of heat transfer printing is the ability to print full colour images directly onto a garment, This is where the process aquires it's name as the image is physically transferred from its printed form onto the garment itself. This method is most commonly found in companies requiring a cheap full colour printing solution for promotional garments, it is also used for one off occasions where a customer might for example require a full colour photograph to be applied to a garment.

Digitizing and Design

Digitizing is the process of transferring a data image into physical stitches that can then be sewn onto the garment required. Digitizing is very complex as each individual stitch has to be created manually by hand using specialised computer software that can provide the apropriate output format for the required design.

At ThreadWorks we offer full digitizing and bespoke design/artwork services for both the print and embroidery industries.
